Markeishia L. Smith was born and raised in Polk County. She graduated from Haines City High School. She also received her English degree from Florida State University. She then received her Masters in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Markeishia taught for 3 years, and was a reading coach for 2 years and I was a elementary school assistant principal and principal for a total of 5 years total in Polk County.
Markeishia L. Smith worked in a local law firm in Winter Haven before opening her own legal practice in the summer of 2017.
